*Responsibilities;*

The WebSphere Portal Engineer is responsible for ongoing maintenance/support
of the WEB Portal infrastructure including the production internet and
intranet sites. This includes performing regularly scheduled maintenance,
monitoring and troubleshooting problems and performance tuning, addressing
security issues, and developing/implementing standards, policies, and
procedures. It also includes installing new web applications and upgrading
vendor software releases. They will be responsible for identifying and
resolving problems using structured troubleshooting methods, techniques, and
tools; this will require close coordination with other departments within
Systems and with external vendors during problem analysis/resolution. ****
