*Location: Atlanta, GA 30339* *Rate: $50/hour (All Inclusive)* Job Duties: In depth engineering experience in perimeter solutions, including the design, low level engineering, and delivery of new hardware systems for client applications across the enterprise DMZ. Development and maintenance of High Level and Low Level Design diagrams/documentation Building/operating various firewall platforms (one or all: Cisco ASA, Cisco PIX Checkpoint/Nokia, Juniper NetScreen, Juniper SRX, Fortinet) Working with IDS/IPS products (e.g., Tipping Points) Working with Web Application Firewall products (e.g., Netscape or Citrix) Strong knowledge of network routing/switching (routing protocols, multicast, other LAN protocols) Functional understanding of diverse set of networked applications requiring perimeter management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, and others. DMZ Network infrastructure knowledge including topology, security policies, firewalls and the L2/L3 switch and router infrastructure is required. The Individual must possess the ability to analyze and understand a variety of existing and emerging business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams as a fully seasoned and proficient perimeter solutions engineer, in providing best in class firewall/IDS/WAF solutions that align to meet business and technology requirements. Candidate will be a strong engineering minded individual with polished collaboration, written, and communication skills and a proven track record interacting with various levels of management clients and technical, team members in delivering technical perimeter solutions. Title: Oracle/SQL DBA Client: Insurance Duration: 6 months with continued extensions Rate: 60 corp to corp all inclusive Location: New York near Wall Street Local candidates only Interview Process: Phone then face to face Required Skills: 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience on Unix environment Strong Experience with Oracle ASM storage and Oracle RAC Experience with SQL coding and tuning Must have experience with Oracle11g, Oracle RAC, Oracle Grid, RMAN and Unix shell scripting Must be hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks. Deep knowledge with Oracle 11g databases, strong RAC/clustering experience, RMAN, and Data Guard experience required. Must demonstrate proficiency to administer Oracle databases running in AIX Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required. Must be able improve SQL performance. Ability to diagnose problems and triage/resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, server, or storage tiers). Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, shell scripts, PL/SQL, cron, or other techniques. 8 to 10 years of SQL Server Database administration experience. (2000, 2005, 2008, 2012) Expert level of SQL Server RDBMS installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in -large and very dynamic environments. Experience with SQL Server Cluster, Replication, Log Shipping for HA/DR. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with very complex database environments. Must have experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
