*Title: Oracle Financials Administrator * *Location: Raleigh * *Duration: 6+ month contract* Need USC/GC/EAD GC *Job requirements:* Position Summary (Mission): Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Oracle Financials environments and related systems by working among internal Oracle Financials team members and teams throughout the company. Job Accountability Responsibilities Key Measures Essential Functions • Key tasks, duties, and responsibilities of position Assist Senior Oracle Financials staff in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues throughout the Oracle Financials platform (50%) Take ownership and drive patching on all Oracle R12 Application environments to maintain a secure and stable environment in-line with best practices. This includes scheduled patch releases as well as emergency security patches (40%) Working with Oracle Support in submitting, monitoring, and driving completion of Oracle SRs (10%) Secondary tasks and duties (desirable, but not primary focus of position) Maintain knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends and best practices for Oracle Applications as well as the ability to drive from concept to implementation Capable of debugging and optimizing SQL queries Ability to interface with product teams to troubleshoot and provide production support for billing integration process with Oracle Financials (PUPS) on a regular basis Enhance customer billing and invoicing process, stability of Oracle Financials, and ease of usability Success Factors (KSAs): Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Minimum Requirements Oracle Financials R12.1.3 (AP, GL, AR, OM, HR/OTL, AOL, Sys Admin) (Required) Oracle Discoverer 10g and/or 11g (Required) Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Technical architecture (Data Models, and APIs) (Required) Experience installing, configuring, and managing Oracle Database Server 11g on Linux (Preferred) Shell Scripting (Preferred) Linux/UNIX experience (Preferred) BI Publisher (Preferred) Full SDLC lifecycle knowledge (Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment) (Preferred) Experience installing and configuring WebLogic servers, particularly in the upgrade process to Fusion Middleware 11g (Preferred) Experience upgrading Oracle Discoverer 10g to 11g (Preferred) Experience training end-users on the usage of modules within Oracle Financials (Preferred) Experience with integration in any of the following implementations: MDM, CRM, SharePoint, Ticketing system (Preferred) Physical Requirements Disclaimer – The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work to be performed.
