JOB SUMMARY

A self-motivated, highly experienced individual to design, build and manage
this global company's network environment in support of an ecommerce based
business, in addition to providing for day to day production support in the
following areas:



                Multi-National Data Network (WAN and LAN)



                Cisco ASA Firewall administration



                F5 LTM and GTM administration



                PCI compliance - includes control design, remediation of
exceptions, and implementation of Corporate Security Policies



                Voice/Call Center (This includes Unity CISCO to desktop)



                Wireless and RF deployment and management



                Project Work (Network, Voice, Data, Wireless)



                Microsoft Windows Server 2008, along with Exchange 2010 and
SharePoint 2010



                Virtualization technologies based on VMware and Citrix
XenApp



                Annual input into budget & monthly forecast



                Break Fix (Network, Voice, Data, Wireless)



                Asset management of the global voice and data (including
wireless) network systems.





JOB DESCRIPTION:

=================

The Network Admin /LAN/WAN Security Analyst will provide enterprise-wide
Network infrastructure support for complex system and interconnected
technologies that require day-to-day support and administration in order to
maintain optimum performance and utilization. The Network Admin / LAN/WAN
Security Analyst will also provide support for company's eCommerce platform





Responsibilities:

------------------



                Oversee the technical requirements of the business
area/project, promote knowledge sharing and the provision of deep technical
expertise in designing, building and maintaining highly-available,
ecommerce platforms.



                Oversee the technical requirements of the business
area/project, promote knowledge sharing and the provision of deep technical
expertise in Voice and Data Networking including wireless and RF capability.



                To manage and be responsible for all activities of Voice,
Wireless and Data Network support and supplementary operations support and
take responsibility for the development of short /long term planning of the
enterprise network.



                Manage lifecycle of LAN/WAN operations and associated
equipment including completion of specifically assigned management
activities such as Projects, Network performance management, Capacity
management and monitoring.



                Manage/support/maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN including: Active
Directory, Microsoft Clustering, Network Load-Balancing, MS Exchange 2003,
MS SQL 2000, Citrix, wireless networks.



                Monitors existing Networks for SLA compliance and reports
any performance or capacity issues to management.



                Administration, maintenance and support of a mixed
environment:

Windows, Linux which provide AD, Email, File, Print, Database and Web
Services.



                Ensure daily backup and recovery operations for distributed
servers



                General Server Administration: - Design, specify and
implement new servers as needed.



                Evaluate/Maintain patch level and security updates



                Install and Troubleshoot hardware and software.



                Supplier financial management and contract negotiations
will be a significant activity within this role in both Voice/Data and
Wireless services.



                On-call responsibilities (rotation) regarding network
issues or outages.



                Quickly change direction and priorities and manage multiple
project priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor.



                Establish rapport and effectively communicate with all
levels of users.



                Collaborate across functional boundaries to improve
business processes in creative ways.



                Continuous learning in Network hardware/Software technology
and ways in which the technology can be applied to meet business
requirements and improve business processes



                Consults with business units to provide situation analysis,
engineering, and design of voice and data Networks that balance the
operational needs of the business units with the requirement to manage
remotely the company's Voice and Data network assets.



                Utilize best business practices to provide design and
testing of Data and Voice (IOS) operating systems.



                Analyzes Network-related needs of business units and
designs optimum hardware and software solutions.



                Identify probable sources of bandwidth abuse and take
actions to alleviate the improper use of the internet or MPLS network. This
will also include creation of 'use' standards for network usage.



                Evaluate suppliers of Data and Voice network services (i.e.
AT&T, Verizon, WilTel, Southwest Bell, PACtel) and recommends strategies.



                Implement encryption for the VPN and other data transport
connections.



                Develop and maintain Firewall policies



                Provide expert coaching and mentoring to technical staff
and input to the evaluation process



                Provide high level Voice, Data, and Wireless network
consulting expertise to the applications team and to the business



                Ensure process adherence, quality and improvement and lead
improvement initiatives in key areas (Incident, Problem, Change,

Configuration.)



                Leverage business/technology information contacts and
knowledge to ensure that IT is a leading technology provider



                Some overtime and weekend work will be required



Key Activities and Tasks:

                Assist in physical planning and implementation for
installation of major hardware platforms.



                Develop procedures and train operators in use of system
software.



                Perform or assist in troubleshooting for issues involving
major hardware platforms and applications.



                Coordinate problem resolution with supporting hardware and
software vendors.



                Assist in analyzing performance bottlenecks.



                Assist Delivery personnel on projects and troubleshooting
as needed.



                Participate in project planning sessions for new
applications and/or site implementations.



                Produce regular capacity reports for management review.



                Assist in hardware or software selection process including
negotiation.



                Other duties as assigned.



MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

=================



       10 or more years experience in Networking including the following
skills and experience:



                Experience in designing, building and maintaining
enterprise-level systems for a multi-national organization.



                Ability to meet and maintain established SLA's



                Excellent troubleshooting skills.



                Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.



                Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability
to work within strict deadlines and with a wide spectrum of people; Project
Leader experience.



                Ability to work under pressure.



                Accuracy and timeliness of systems design, implementation
and management



                Amount of unscheduled vs. scheduled downtime



                Extensive knowledge of various platforms, software products
and capacity planning metrics.



                Knowledge of hardening elements F5, AD, Firewalls



                Good math skills and written and verbal communication skills



                Physical and logical understanding of CISCO Unity, UCCX,
CISCO switches, hubs and routers



                Knowledge of other software, including incident systems,
change management systems, CMDB



                Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in LAN/WAN
environment.





Education:

-----------



                A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic
Engineering, or a related field, AND a minimum of five to seven years of
network experience with multiple platforms (i.e. Cisco, F5, Brocade, etc.)
is required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.



                CISCO certifications



                F5 certifications



                Professional Windows and Security Training courses



                Professional AD, DNS, DHCP and WINS certifications
