Responsibilities: · Fulfills the role of the Scrum Master leading multiple teams through the Agile/Scrum process in the delivery of mission critical, customer facing, enterprise software development projects to our production system. The essential duties of Scrum Master include: · Remove the barriers between development and the customer so that the customer directly drives development; · Teach the customer or product owner how to maximize ROI and meet their objectives through Scrum; · Improve the lives of the development team by facilitating creativity and empowerment; · Improve the productivity of the development team in any way possible; · Improve the engineering practices and tools so each increment of functionality is potentially shippable; · Provide and maintain all necessary external communications and status information for the scrum team. · Ensures the Agile/Scrum process is implemented effectively and provides coaching and training at the team, department, and company levels to maximize its benefits · Coordinates with departments and partners towards on-time delivery of critical projects and programs · Brings clarity, cohesiveness, transparency, organization, and accountability to projects involving projects involving multiple teams or departments · Responsible for planning, executing, tracking and managing costs, schedule, and scope on all projects in addition to designing and managing the project and technical processes in the SDLC · Significantly contributes to product roadmap planning, scheduling projects for managed teams and coordinating across teams to build a cohesive roadmap schedule · Improves productivity by improving software development practices within project teams and across the organization · Identifies and manages the risks associated with projects and programs to achieve project success · Identifies and implements creative solutions to impediments to keep projects on track · Improves, and facilitates all project and software development processes to create agreement and alignment with departmental objectives of productivity, timeliness, and quality. Skills as a facilitator, communicator, and chairperson are crucial. · Drives departmental initiatives and process improvements to achieve higher department level productivity · Drives the adoption of key engineering practices like Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc · Coaching and mentoring of Product Owners, Product Development Team and other Scrum Masters Qualifications: · 10+ years’ experience in Program/Project Management with at least 5 years managing projects for mission critical enterprise software · Strong SDLC management in particular 5+ years with AGILE/SCRUM/XP development, Scrum Master Certification - CSM required, CSP desired · 5+ years software development experience with knowledge of object oriented technology and design patterns. Strong Web technologies experience. · 3-5 years’ experience with online/ecommerce · BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent · MBA strongly preferred · PMI PMP certification or equivalent · 1-2 years’ experience in Lean software development practices preferred · Excellent facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to influence change at all levels · Experience with successful management of several multi-team, multi-year enterprise projects at the senior level · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of competency using SCRUM practice *2. Work to ensure that all systems are consistent, patched to the correct level, and adequate inventory is maintained, and provide management level reporting to WFS leadership *Responsibilities:* Maintain system efficiency. Make recommendations for future upgrades. Design and implement processes to ensure patch consistency, adequate reporting, and effective inventory management. Work with application development, infrastructure owners, and business to set and management patch schedules. Coordinate with enterprise teams to ensure compliance with internal policies.
