*Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills *

·         Position Title: IBM BPM Business Analyst (BA) Grade: (to be
provided by Human Resources)

·         Position Summary:

·         The BPM Business Analysts will work with the Global Solutions
Delivery Program Management office (GSDPMO) and the BPM project team.

·         The BA is responsible to Client, define and analyze complex
processes within internal cross functional teams.

·         These BPM analysts lead and facilitate the process discovery
phase of IBM BPM projects, and communicate business needs for
process-oriented solutions. *Principal Responsibilities:*

The BA will:

·          Interview the business owners and subject matter experts to
understand and define the workflow requirements, data involvement and
associated applications while recommending solutions

·          Client, define, analyze, improve, and model the business process
in Blueworks

·          Translate the complex business inputs from the Business and
Operations teams into a user story and partner with the development and
test teams to ensure clear understanding

·          Perform process inventory and prioritization following the IBM
BPM methodology

·          Influence the technology team to implement solutions and
enhancements that ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

·          Have solid subject matter expertise in one or more areas such as
Data analysis, Data integration, specific organizational functions or
products, ERP Systems or other applications

·          Apply a focused set of techniques to resolve complex business
problems – such as business rules analysis, data modeling, process modeling
and communication

·          Facilitate grooming sessions and end user training

·          Skills in object-oriented analysis and design, system
integration, and Service Oriented Architecture design, process modeling and
BPM applications tools

·          Assist in identifying short term improvements that align with
business/program goals and recommend longer term solutions Experience:

·          Strong knowledge of the BPM methodology and group process skills

·          Have experience and understand the functionalities and
capabilities of IBM Business Process Manager

·          Highly developed problem identification skills and creativity to
develop new innovative solutions

·          Has managed multiple projects under a Program Management
Structure

·          Strong working knowledge of BlueWorks

·          Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills

·          Strong negotiation skills Knowledge and Skills Required:

·          Highly motivated, Independent and Extremely Organized

·          Take Ownership for Results

·          Capable of working with others and have a team mindset

·          Outstanding communication skills

·          Ability to establish and maintain relationships across all
levels of the Organization

·          Great facilitation and presentational skills Education, Training
&/or Certification:

·          Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred and Project Management
Professional (PMP) Certification desired Supervision Exercised:

·          Global Implementation PMO Project Managers and potentially
Business Analysts

·          Supervision of project teams without direct reporting
relationships
