*Job Description:

- Source System extraction processes for the BI Data Warehouse.
- Testing/validation of modernized data files against mainframe data
files.
- Report creation/maintenance using Information Builders WebFOCUS
toolset.
- Automation of source system data extraction processes and data loading
of the BI Data Warehouse.
The consultant will adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards,
including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC
(software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and
the IT governance process.
*Mandatory Requirements:*
Senior
5 to 7 years of technical experience centered around a technology,
technologies or a portfolio of applications. Designing and implementing
Information Technology solutions.
Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for
others; may have advanced education.
*The following Requested (Desirable) Qualifications are not mandatory and
candidates that do not fit all of the following, are still strongly
encouraged to apply.*
1. At least 60 months experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including
triggers, stored procedures, packages, and advanced queuing.
2. At least 36 months experience in T-SQL (SQL Server SQL) and SQL
Server Management Studio 2008 developing stored procedures, analyzing
dependencies in SQL Server objects, creating/scheduling Jobs with the SQL
Server agent, and writing/executing SQL on the fly via Query Analyzer.
3. At least 36 months experience in using Microsoft Team Foundation
Server in a Microsoft Windows environment, including experience in
check-in/check-out.
4. At least 36 months experience writing and maintaining code written
using C# in a Microsoft Windows environment.
5. At least 36 months experience in XML development.
6. At least 60 months experience in DMSII in a Unisys A-Series mainframe
environment.
7. At least 60 months experience in CANDE in a Unisys A-Series mainframe
environment.
8. At least 60 months experience in MARC in a Unisys A-Series mainframe
environment.
9. At least 60 months experience in COBOL74 in a Unisys ASeries
mainframe environment.
10. At least 60 months experience in COMS in a Unisys A-Series mainframe
environment.
