*Position: Java Developer* *Location: Chandler, AZ* *Target Start Date: 1-2 Weeks* *Rate: $50C2C* *Must do Face to Face (No Exceptions)* The Lending Grid platform under Lending Business Services-Mortgage Technology organization supports over 20 Home Equity applications using java and .net technologies. This role will provide technical leadership and hands on development responsibility for the .net/vba/access application portfolio consisting of 4 applications and web services. *Responsibilities include: * Designing, developing and supporting the portfolio of supported HE .net based applications. Act as a lead developer/architect in providing application design, guidance, and consultation to less experienced team members. Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Position will also provide level 3 production support. *Requirements:* · 7+ years of in-depth development of solutions on a Java platform with design, development and support experience in Core JAVA, J2EE. · Experience leading solving problems and grasping concepts quickly. · Flexibility to work on & off hours as required to support various environments. · Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills. · Documentation skills to deliver artifacts with clarity understood by business partners and detail essential to technology partners. · Relationship skills to effectively partner with external vendors, internal business partners (SMEs, stakeholders, PMs) and technical team members (architects, data analysts, application developers, QA). · 5+ years hands on experience with Spring, Hibernate, XML, XSLT, HTML, Apache Tomcat, Web Logic. · 2+ years hands on experience in Java Swing UI development with event handling. · 3+ years hands on experience in Multi-threading programming. · 3+ years of experience in Message Driven Beans for high volume batch processing systems. · 3 + years hands on experience with Web Services development. · Hands-on Experience with MAVEN and/or ANT, Log4J. Service Oriented Architecture and/or Messaging Solution experience. · 5+ years hands on experience to write complex SQL queries and working knowledge of application servers/containers is highly desirable. · Strong communication, leadership and relationship skills to effectively partner with the business partners (SMEs, stakeholders, PMs) and technical team members (architects, data analysts, application developers, QA).
