POSITION: Java Architect LOCATION: Auburn Hills, Michigan DURATION: 6 + Months *Need USC/GC only* *Required:* * Demonstrate LEAD expertise in design patterns, technical decisions, architectural standards, guidelines and best practices. * Demonstrate LEAD experience in providing guidance and advice to various groups on Java/J2EE architecture and experience on ensuring project on target * Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate to all level of management in written and verbal form *Qualifications*: * Must have Lead experience rolling out and developing a large enterprise portal (B2B, B2C, Employee) * Prior experience with Web environments (N-tier) in a lead or direction setting role. * Ability to direct, well defined technical projects as a project manager of off-shore resources. * Exceptional coding ability in JSP, Spring, Hibernate, and XML * Experience with all aspects of enterprise portal architecture including: Database Design, experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and/or any other RDBMS, ESB (Enterprise Service Bus), EAI experience (Enterprise Application Integration) * An understanding of Enterprise architecture including: TCP/IP Networking, HTTP, SMTP, Firewalls and Proxies. * Demonstrate excellent ability to communicate to all level of management in written and verbal form * Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Apache, Tomcat, Servlets, JSP. * Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area and ten plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. * Highest level technical expert in designing N-Tier, J2EE applications to ensure they are robust, extensible, and easy to maintain. * Must be an advisor on key technical decisions, architectural standards, guidelines and best practices.
