Position: Digital Services Business Analyst w/ Sharepoint Location: New York, NY Duration: 6 months+ Rate: Open DESCRIPTION: Position overview: The Digital Services Business Analyst needs to configure SharePoint as per business requirements and functional specifications. They will need to understand the capability and functionality of SharePoint and be able to effectively deploy Out-Of-The-Box webparts and third-party web parts to meet business requirements. They are not expected to develop web parts, but will need to work with both end users and developers to define requirements. Responsibilities include: Understanding the marketplace for additional web parts and make effective recommendations on Build vs. Buy approaches for functionality. Being responsible for the configuration of SharePoint components including web parts, workflows and other SharePoint components. Liaising with System Administrators to ensure effective governance. Coordinate with designers to ensure that the UX remains of a high quality. Fulfill train-the-trainer duties for the Digital Communications team.
