**** *Job Title :* Project Manager *Business Area** :* IT - Supporting Health Care Reform *Location** :* Quincy, MA**** *Interview :* Face to Face is a Must**** *Overview:***** - Project Managers drive the detailed planning, execution and control of individual projects. Depending on size and scope, more than one project may be simultaneously assigned to a Project Manager for daily oversight and management. **** - The Project Manager has primary responsibility for day-to-day team management (pre-, during, and post-meeting management), tracking and reporting of project status, issue/risk management, successful completion of deliverables, and interfacing with other business leads / subject matter advisors across the organization to support overall project efforts.**** *Key Responsibilities***** - Lead multiple or large-scale projects designed to improve organizational and operational effectiveness **** - Oversee and direct all aspects of the project 'life cycle' (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, Closeout) **** - Apply standard project management methodology / processes / tools **** - Lead multi-disciplinary project teams through demonstration of best practice facilitation, team, and meeting management skills **** - Directly manage the activities of project team members; coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members **** - Track, document, & report status to Program Director and Steering Committee **** - Identify, mitigate / resolve, escalate risks and issues **** - Establish and monitor project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) **** - Integrate business functional content expertise among the project team; seek out the participation of organizational subject matter advisors, as needed **** - Solicit input from internal customers/stakeholders, including both clinical leaders and supporting associates from external departments, in developing implementation plans **** - Ensure completion of on-time, high quality deliverables to achieve targeted project outcomes / milestones **** - Prepare project scope change requests, as needed **** - Institute projects' Quality Management processes **** - Manage and provide feedback to assigned Project Analyst, as needed **** - Identify and apply 'lessons learned' to support continuous improvement efforts**** *Qualifications:***** - Strong presentation delivery skills **** - Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and workgroups **** - Effective communications in writing and speech; high degree of initiative; team player; results oriented; willingness to get the job done **** - Demonstrated experience in leading all aspects of project 'lifecycle', such as : business case development , communication plan development, workplan development and maintenance, team management, resource planning, status reporting, issue/risk identification and management, performance measurement (e.g., measurement and monitoring), etc.**** *Experience and Education:***** - Minimum BA or BS degree in Business and/or Health Management/Administration, Finance, Accounting or related degree; Masters degree a plus **** - 4+ year’s experience as a demonstrated project manager with oversight for large-scale or multiple projects **** - Strong data management and analytic skills through data analysis, process mapping etc. **** - Experience managing and coaching others (especially within a project environment) **** - Excellent ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization **** - Ability to effectively plan and facilitate multi-disciplinary meetings and workgroups **** - Strong communication and presentation delivery skills (large and small audiences)**** ** ** ** ** -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
