I am all for National Metric Week and posters, but the KISS (keep it simple stupid) approach works best with most audiences. If we could just get the population to deal with a FEW metric units, we would be 96% of the way "there". If we could just institute the use of liters (and mL) to measure liquid, meters (and cm and mm) for distance, and kilograms (and g) for weight (OK, mass), that would be a stupendous advance.

So, wouldn't it be more effective for posters to just deal with these three? Just three little changes, maybe, US population?
