How about a Megon?

  "Micron" was so widely accepted and used that I checked.  It was once 
acceptable to CGPM (ca 1948) and is listed in the history section of the SI 
Brochure, Resolution 7.  It was later deprecated as a bad practice.  There is 
no nanon in Resolution 7.  The micron was abrogated by amendment of Resolution 
7 in 1968, when the symbol was declared to be ONLY a prefix and not a unit when 
used alone.  It is a bit unfair to call it "jargon" as it was a "formerly 
blessed unit."  If anyone other than this unnamed reporter uses nanon, it would 
be fair to call it jargon.  What is next, a picon?

  It seems that the Nanon is a relative of the micron.
