Hi, I'm trying to synchronize multiple B210s to receive data at the same time. I'm only concerned about sample time alignment across devices, and am aware there is a phase offset that will need to be calibrated out separately. I've had success with 1 RX channel across 2 B210s, but something seems

Just to emphasize, the Network Mode for the E310 was never really encouraged. The performance is poor due to hardware architecture issues. The E310 was only ever intended to be used as a stand-alone embedded radio platform, and not like a “connect to a beefy computer” USRP like the N and X and B

Hi Nate, Sorry, using GNU Radio is not an option, the aim is to connect to the E310 via a network and stream direct. As this isn’t possible with 3.15 LTS I’ll let the user know, thanks. Simon Brown, G4ELI https://www.sdr-radio.com From: Nate Temple Sent: 24 February 2020 19:26 To:

Hi Simon, No, the USB cable will only provide serial access. You could use GNU Radio to stream samples via ZMQ/TCP/UDP sockets. You could also use pure C++/UHD API to stream via a UDP interface such as with the example program rx_samples_to_udp. Regards, Nate Temple On Mon, Feb 24, 2020 at 11:1

Hi Simon, The E310 network mode was removed from UHD with the switch to the MPM based file systems. If you need to use the network mode, you should use an older version of UHD. Regards, Nate Temple On Mon, Feb 24, 2020 at 11:05 AM Simon G4ELI via USRP-users < usrp-users@lists.ettus.com> wrote:

Hello Lukas: Do you have the option of using 10 Gbps Ethernet? It will provide you the equivalent performance on the X300/X310 as the PCIe interface. The Intel X710-DA2 network card works very well out-of-the-box with Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.10. Most people using Linux and GNU Radio with the X300/X

Hi Lukas. Most USRP X310 Linux users employ 10gigE to connect to the host PC. PCIe on the USRP X310 uses a proprietary ASIC and the driver is, as you discovered, built on an obsolete kernel. You could attempt to appeal directly to NI for support if switching to 10 gigE isn't an option for you.
