How 'bout a forum?
1. It would be easier to sort discussion by topic, letting those
interested in elections to chat freely without disturbing anyone else.
2. New users could see the fruits of past discussions without having
to resurrect old debates.

A couple of weeks ago, I sent out a mailing list submission detailing
my Nvidia woes. I though you'd like to know how I solved the problem.
1. Replaced the standard yum.conf file with a modified version found
on fedorafaq.org
2. installed new kernel through yum (default kernel wasn't working)
I'm trying to install the nvidia driver on my Fedora Core 3
installation. I did the following:
-Edited my inittab file to runlevel 3.
-Rebooted.
-ran installer shellscript. Installer said that the driver would not
work with the module "rivafb".
-edited my xorg.conf file, changing driver = "nv

on the bandwagon.
Also, Linspire 5 is supposed to debut in next month's Linux Desktop
Summit (www.desktopsummit.com). Does anyone here plan on going? I
think it's on Feb 9-11.
