I'm not sure what version of Varnish you are using, but revision 2270
changed some of the SIGHUP code in varnishncsa:

Download the latest SVN version and give it a try...

It doesn't appear that VCL supports case insensitive regular
expressions. Is this true?
I have tried all the methods that I am aware of to signify case
insensitivity, and none seem to work.
Any help would be appreciated.
