*Job Title: EDI QA Tester* *Location: Wellesley, MA * *Length: 6-12 Months* EDI QA Tester **Must have EDI claims transaction and full claims processing cycles 837 to 835 and testing experience with EDI 834 experience** Strong QA testing skills with experience test planning, test case design, use of test management tools Strong testing experience with the EDI claims transactions and full claims processing cycle 837 to 835 Testing experience with EDI 834 transactions is a plus Understand business requirement/use cases/business scenarios to come up with appropriate test cases and test plan Ability to work independently once the tasks are assigned and expectations are set Hands on experience with SoapUI for web services testing Experience writing basic SQL queries Uses wide application of concepts, principles, methodologies, and techniques to test and assure the quality of the software. Responsible for sophisticated defect detection, problem solving and troubleshooting with complex software. Designs the overall project test plan and master test schedule. Provides significant support in areas such as feasibility studies and design reviews. Leads the quality assurance team and makes decisions for the quality assurance of the project/product. Recommends and leads quality improvement initiatives for future product/project releases. 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Proficient with requirements gathering tools such as Caliber and test management tools such as TestDirector, QuickTest Pro, and LoadRunner by Mercury. Good knowledge of project management tools and concepts. Proficient in utilizing quality improvement tools and techniques. Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience.
