Hi, I am wondering if VirtualBox SDK allows to read (and even write to) the guest memory from the host. I expect to see some functions to read memory, given the virtual address and physical address of the memory area we want to access to. I looked over the SDK, and didnt see any functions like

[vbox-dev] Linux Compiz fails on 2.1.0 ?

Hi, I tried to enable Compiz on Ubuntu 8.10, but only got the message like Effects could not be enabled. Is that expected, given that I already enabled 3D acceleration? Anybody experienced the same problem?? (I can confirm that I already installed Guest additions for Linux, and vboxvideo driver
