Hi I have a number of instances of this error on seperate machines. Installed an Ubuntu guest on Windows XP Host and when I restarted the following day we get an error about permissions on the VDI file. Can't rename the file. Can copy it. Can run VBoxManage clonvdi to make a new version of it but this is not sustainable.
I have tried to google the error and there are a small number of postings but cannot find a definitive way of preventing this.
