Sorry to trouble you pple. I'm new to vpopmail. After reading some mail
archive i still cannot get the answer. Please help me and thanks in
advance.
I'm using Turbolinux distro with qmail and vpopmail installed from tar
ball.
Here is what i can and can't:-
1 able to use netscape mail to send email through the smtp:
mail.netphuture.com
2 able to recieve email messages from remote ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to
the virtual user: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
checked the email messages is recieved and in the
/home/vpopmail/domains/netphuture.com/jason/Maildir/new
3 tried both username : jason%netphuture.com and [EMAIL PROTECTED],
result, login error.
4 /var/log/maillog show:-
vchkpw: no user found [EMAIL PROTECTED]:192.168.0.1
5 telnet netphuture.com 110
Trying 202.156.122.40...
Connected to netphuture.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
user jason%netphuture.com
+OK
pass scv9424a
-ERR authorization failed
Connection closed by foreign host.
I have created a user call jason and virtualdomain netphuture.com.
