Why can I add domains just fine, but when it comes
to a domain that I had under a previous installation, it tells me that it can't
find the directory /usr/home/vpopmail/domains.
it's surely not on the website, nor the bottom of
these emails, nor the usual way(s) of doing it!

GOT IT! I had a user of the same name in the ~vpopmail/users directory.
removed all created accts in that dir and still didn't work. deleted the
domain and recreated it, and recreated the user.
done.

Sorry to bother, but i'm having the strangest problems with my setup.
I have 2 domains (helenlarsen.com and silentcooperative.com). they're also
virtual domains. I've created users both in /etc/passwd and shadow, as well
as vadduser'd a user for the helenlarsen.com virtual domain. !! I
