Hi Folks,
I've had a bit of hassle recently trying to compile VPopMail 5.2.1/5.3.8 with
the Oracle authentication module. Having had a bit of a poke about the
archives for this mailing list I see that a few other people have had the
same problems and no one has posted a solution yet.
First I
myself, as
well as others (it appears) is a mini how-to.. or some sort of doc. on
this.
thx

Was the install from the qmail-scanner site followed exactly...
maildrop and perl modules, and TNEF Unpacker?
I am not 100% on the vpopmail stuff, and i dont want to mess anything up.
So, i thoiught id ask when i saw maildrop was a mail delivery ageny..
If i already have courier imap installed
Has anyone use qmail scanner with vpopmail?
Can anyone make any statements to qmail scanner and its performance or
reliability?
what virus scanner do you use with it?
Im thinking about using it.
thx

hello-
im trying to use vpopmail and i got it installed ok (or so it seems) and
built with these options:
Current settings
---
vpopmail directory = /home/vpopmail
uid = 519
gid = 520
ip alias = OFF --e
I just compiled and installed vpopmail-4.9.6-1. Now as root I am trying
to create a new domain. It asks for the postmaster's password twice and
seems to run normally. When it's done, I end up with
/home/vpopmail/domains/domain.com:
-rw--- 1 vpopmail vchkpw 0 Dec 2 12:24 .dir-co
I can't find any response to this. I'd like to know what are the
advantages of having it one way or the other.

#x27;ve modified a lot of the list text files, and I don't want to
lose the archive.
Would this be a better question for the ezmlm list?
Duncan
/vpopmail/domains/powercenter.net/joe/? Do I have to change their
ownership/permissions? I hope I don't have to create a new list.

I am switching to a new domain name. I would like to switch
olddomain.com to a virtualdomain. However, there is a mailing list
hosted as [EMAIL PROTECTED] I would like people to be able to
post to this list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
What is the best way to go about this? Right
rking well. This
is the only program that gives me NFS errors. Could someone suggest
what the problem might be?
