this is a known problem and afaik not solved yet.
here is my workaround which works for me:
# no | here:
VPOP=/home/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail '' bounce-no-mailbox
# user xfilter instead of to
xfliter $VPOP
EXITCODE=0
exit

with .qmail-default

| /home/vpopmail/bin/vdelivermail '' bounce-no-mailbox

hmmm. so if this really doesn't work with aliases stored in mysql... how do
you guys filter spam mail??? i don't have to use maildrop. any other method
would be fine.
could you tell me your experiences? in the end i'm looking for a way to
filter spam with per domain preferences.
