Hello list, Please help if you can. I am running out of ideas. Recently, I have upgraded vpopmail to version 5.4 and although it is not conclusive, I think the upgrade contributed to this problem since I did not see it before.
I have been seeing some e-mail coming in truncated causing MUAs such as Outlook to choke. Log entries indicated nothing unusual. These e-mails end up having only partial headers and nothing else - no bodies. furthermore, so far, they are all spams but they cause problems for clients. Examples of these e-mail in their entirety: 1) Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: (qmail 11819 invoked by uid 503); 30 Apr 2004 14:06:05 -0000 Date: 30 Apr 2004 14:06:05 -0000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: recipient list not shown: ; Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: (qmail 11814 invoked from network); 30 Apr 2004 14:06:05 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO smtp1.superb.net) (10.10.10.102) by vpop1.superb.net with SMTP; 30 Apr 2004 14:06:05 -0000 Received: (qmail 25155 invoked by uid 503); 30 Apr 2004 14:06:16 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO adsl-68-121-199-215.dsl.sndg02.pacbell.net) (68.121.199.215) by smtp1.superb.net with SMTP; 30 Apr 2004 14:06:16 -0000 Received: from 253.80.0.112 by web333.mail.yahoo.com; Sat, 01 May 2004 01:58:54 -0500 Message-ID: <R[20 2) Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: (qmail 5081 invoked from network); 18 May 2004 07:17:54 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO smtp1.superb.net) (10.10.10.102) by vpop1.superb.net with SMTP; 18 May 2004 07:17:54 -0000 Received: (qmail 14037 invoked by uid 503); 18 May 2004 07:17:57 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO 207.228.225.14) (140.111.100.42) by smtp1.superb.net with SMTP; 18 May 2004 07:17:57 -0000 X-Message-Info: BKKSL+od63+z+RLO+89/336029040351 Received: (qmail 44015 invoked by uid 59); Tue, 18 May 2004 05:21:02 -0300 Date: Tue, 18 May 2004 14:20:02 +0600 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]@portugalnet.com> From: Jerold Teague <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Russell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Cheapp Soft-offfers - very big disccounts! compellable MIME-Version: 1.0 (produced by candela[2 3) Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: (qmail 14665 invoked by uid 503); 18 May 2004 17:16:33 -0000 Date: 18 May 2004 17:16:33 -0000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: recipient list not shown: ; Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Received: (qmail 14657 invoked from network); 18 May 2004 17:16:33 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO smtp1.superb.net) (10.10.10.102) by vpop1.superb.net with SMTP; 18 May 2004 17:16:33 -0000 Received: (qmail 14305 invoked by uid 503); 18 May 2004 17:16:31 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO 58.101-200-80.adsl.skynet.be) (80.200.101.58) by smtp1.superb.net with SMTP; 18 May 2004 17:16:31 -0000 Received: from 249.250.96.238 by web612.mail.yahoo.com; Tue, 18 May 2004 11:15:21 -0700 Message-ID: <A[20 I am hoping someone else have seen similar problems so I can eliminate the fact that there are something wrong with our specific setup.
