It seems you have your pop3d running with wrong user:

You should also include the user and group to run as (add -u89 -g89 to
your tcpserver parameters)

I just upgraded to vpopmail-4.8.5. (I was using 3.4.11)
Now all my users cant authorize through POP
Server Response: '-ERR authorization failed'
Any ideas?
