Why it runs as vpopmail? It should run as root as well. Here is a sample
startup script:
$ /var/qmail/
auses open-smtp to be owned by root

But I just edited /usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/imapd.rc and
added:
-user=vpopmail \
-group=vchkpw \
to the the "start" case. It works fine, and m
