Hello my Broadcasting format display is 4:3 . i install vdr-1.7.33 + softhddevice plugin now i go to Menu - Setup - DVB - Video format and change :4:3 to 16:9 and press enter but don't chage video format it is 4:3 . why setting don't work ? do vdr support 16:9 format video ? sorry for english

Is there a way to get the language of a EPG transmission? For the Motorola client I need to set the EPG language of a channel before caching it. Most channels work, like ARD/ZDF but Deluxe Music ( SKY D) don't get EPG with language set to 'ger'. So can I log the (raw) EPG info from VDR so I can
