But it's okay to work with.

Hi list
Is there a plugin/patch to avoid recording of unnecessary audio tracks?
With update names pids enabled vdr will add those tracks again once
I removed them from channels.conf. So I'd have to disable pid updating,
which is not what I had in mind...

Thanks!
I noticed ZDF is boadcasting 3 sports sessions today using the same pdc
time for all three events:
09:55 - 12:00 Wintersport
12:00 - 12:05 heute
12:05 - 03:55 Wintersport
03:55 - 04:00 heute
04:00 - 05:00 Wintersport
I'm test-recording this and will keep an eye on what's happening
, only one timer is kept, and vdr will start recording
immediately, if you're already in the first event's timeframe (09:55-12:00).
Shouldn't different event id make sure this doesn't happen?

Thanks for pointing this out. That explains some of the problems I
experienced with vps timers:
Consider this:
timer #1 scheduled for 22:20-22:50 - no pdc time defined by the
broadcaster, so vps time is set to 22:20.
timer #2 scheduled for the following event (22:50-23:20) , but uses a
pdc
Hello klaus
I tested status 3 handling against:
- vdr-1.7.0, vdr-1.7.1, vdr-1.7.2
- vdr-1.6.0
- vdr-1.5.14
None of them showed a reaction during status 3 , only syslog and
dvbsnoop point out that this event is pausing.
Any pointers where to look at in the code?

thanks VDR User!
I was able to compile 1.4.0 , so I'll test this one.

I noticed one of my local broadcasters does actually flag a commercial

Hello klaus
One of the changes you introduced in 1.7.16 does prevent the deletion of
.del directories and the files inside of video.01, video.02 and so on.
Only the del directories in video.00 with the symbolic links are cleaned up by
the removing recordings thread.
I guess it is caused by
