Hi,
I tried this version of vdr with the aim of displaying subtitles on sky italia
channels but there were no subtitles shown at all, while at the same time
tvheadend shows the subtitles. Please tell me if I have to do something to help.

Hi,
The xmltv2vdr script is not working for me on VDR 1.7.16. There is no EPG on
the target channels.
Anybody can confirm if it is working for you or not. Thanks a lot.
BTW, I know I should run the scrip with the -p parameter as SDVRP port in VDR
has changed, but the script runs without error

I tested it today by upgrading to yavdr 0.3, and Arabic language is working
perfectly:)

I would love to do so now but I am using yavdr 0.2 and waiting for the yavdr
team to make the new
VDR developer version available to upgrade(As I am new into linux scene and

I am using Yavdr 0.2 with VDR 1.7.15 and the EPG or EIT for arabic language is
inappropriately displayed in VDR. Using the arabic
ISO-8859-6 in etc/default/vdr now the letters are shown correctly but they
appear disjointed and are read from from left to right[whereas
