Company is guaranteed funding for 2 years and is looking for a very sophisticated, experienced c/c++ programmer, preferably from a trading company. This is a for small, technology focused asset management company trying to design, develop and build the next generation high performance trading systems and trading models from scratch . Company needs a Senior S/W Developer with 4-5 years architecture experience, having worked on large software projects in C++ (expert level), Linux toolchain (GNU/Clang). C++ in real time environment experience, Python/ R Shop/ PostScript database/SQL or PostgeSQL. Servers are running on Linux (windows side is harder). This developer needs to have experience working on real-time applications, especially those where the application is using shared memory on a network or involving lots of caching in memory Want Big Data experience, a lot of data analytics experience, large memory systems, network development. They have an existing trading system that is slow, and they are creating a new one with multiple cores (going from course core to fine grained core development). They have 22 servers, and work in Linux. If someone has experience developing in Windows with a backend Linux server, that’s ok too.
