Senior Oracle DBA Contract: 3 months/90 day Contract Location: Columbus, OH *10+ Year experience is required.* *Company and Group Details:* The role requires strong collaboration with Application Development Teams, Business Partners, and key Stakeholders to design and build robust, scalable, operational solutions to meet business needs. This position demands a well-organized, action oriented team player with exceptional time management skills to support multiple initiatives simultaneously and in a very fast paced environment. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross functional teams, business partners and/or vendor partners, and technology leaders. Can translate a technical conversation to a non-technical audience as well as engage in a non-technical conversation and translate into technical terms. *Requirements/Experience:* · 10 years of experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases. · Experience working with Oracle versions 10g, 11g and 12c in a UNIX environment a must. · Strong programming experience in PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, PowerShell and Perl/Python. · Prior experience in software development is a strong plus · Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is required. · Experience with Oracle 12c Goldengate in a RAC environment is a plus. · Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN and Veritas NetBackup. · Experience with Database security, access management and monitoring. · Experience fulfilling regulatory compliance auditing and evidence collection (Sarbanes Oxley). *Preferred Qualifications:* · DBA experience with MS SQL Server and Teradata is a strong plus.
