*The Job:*

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will apply your analytical and people
skills to solve major organizational challenges. You will support and work
with business and IT teams to build and test products that positively
impact our business.

You responsibilities will include several of the following areas:

*Business Analysis*

   - Understand business goals and improvement opportunities, define
   objective or problem to solve, and collaborate with cross functional teams
   to develop strategic and tactical recommendations.
   - Translate business objectives into project requirements, support
   prioritization and tradeoffs among conflicting requirements, and articulate
   requirements to project team members.
   - Document testable requirements, articulate validation criteria and
   support user acceptance in product development. Lead joint application
   design (JAD) sessions and develop requirement backlogs as necessary.
   - Support training adoption of business or technology changes within the
   organization.

*Product Management*

   - Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in specific
   products/platforms for the Mortgage line of business. As an expert you will
   maintain business process maps and understand system architecture documents
   for your area.
   - Partner with IT to manage technology product through its life cycle of
   selection, deployment, upgrades, enhancements and sunset. Evaluate emerging
   trends and products in the industry and recommend technology products that
   could transform and enable business. Influence vendors to develop and build
   new features/enhancements to support emerging business needs.
   - Test and rollout technology product upgrades for the organization

*Your expertise probably includes a few of these and you are excited about
learning the rest:*

   - A few years of professional experience with Waterfall or Agile
   delivery models
   - You have successfully applied analysis techniques such as Use Case
   Modeling, Process Mapping, Process Modeling, 5-why techniques, Value Stream
   Mapping and fishbone diagrams to improve the way teams solve problems and
   deliver value.
   - You understand enterprise architecture and engineering practices. You
   are familiar with traditional quality management and test automation tools
   such as HP Quality Center or Quick Test Pro.
   - You are excited about emerging practices such as Human Centered
   Design, and have applied design concepts to enable solutions that enable
   better customer experience.
   - You have exposure to techniques such as Gherkin and have applied those
   to BDD/TDD. You may have familiarity with backlog management and may have
   used tools such as Jira.

*Qualifications*

Basic

   - At least a Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
   - At least 3 years of business analysis experience
   - Experience with Mortgage Business or technology products
   - Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex
   projects
   - Ability to influence and interact with a diverse group of executives,
   managers, and subject matter experts.

Preferred

   - Exposure to Mortgage products from Fiserv (UniFi) or Accenture
   Mortgage Cadence (ELC)
   - Experience with Digital platform and product development
   - Experience as a product owner in an Agile – Scrum or Kanban environment
   - Certification from IIBA
