Does anyone know anything about the beconv command? It is listed in the
NetBackup 6.0 commands for Windows manual but does not appear to exist
in my installation.

I had this problem here at my site off and on for awhile. While I could

Is there a way to restrict access to read only within the Java console? It appears that the auth.conf file restricts access to parts of the admin console but not to a read only level.

I concur with Paul... I reconfigured the Console shortcut to use "runas",
and other than the inconvenience of entering in my local administrator's
password every time I start the console, it works perfectly.

IIRC, one of the requirements is that the user running the win32 console
must be an administrative user on the machine on which the app is being
run.
That was an issue here.

Hi.
We have a few Windows file servers using NBU 5.1 MP4 which we are
currently running standard backups on.
The amount of data and number of files on these servers has increased
significantly within the last year. It is now taking NBU almost 3 days
to completed a full backup on one of these se

All of our NBU servers are solaris, and I've had a hell of a time
getting the win32 console running on any windows box that is compliant
with corporate Windows deployment, so we've never used the win32 console
at all.
