I had to go to NBU 6.0 because we have
been waiting for SPS 2003 support since SPS 2003 came out.
I upgraded from NBU 5.1 MP4 to NBU 6.0 MP1
without any problems except the normal EMM stuff (hire a NBU consultant who has
done this before, as I did, is my best advice)

I recall a previous thread discussing dssu's from about 6+ months back that may have mentioned a 10 GB limit
I'm not sure this is true at all or would apply to your infrastructure.

Please forgive my multiple postings of the same message. I got bounces

Title: Is v6.0 MP2 safe? I'm confused.
Hi Cheryl
I can't comment on the upgrade process as we
migrated from Backup Exec to NetBackup recently and went straight to 6.0 MP2.
The only major problems we have uncovered so far are related to the vault. We
had a problem with retention mapping and

I usually rely on this list to identifying issues with new versions and maintenance before I install them myself, but I’m confused. Is there a problem with MP2 or are the people having problems with MP2 not implementing properly?
Thanks,

The default restore is going to place the files back in the same full
path as the original file. If you want to place the files in a new
location, you have to use a "rename" file. It's the "-R" option for
bprestore.
It'll handle partial path names so you don't have to rename every single
file.

In my experience, I don't know of a way to skip the directory structure.
But you can use the command line for scripted restores - see the
Commands reference for bprestore. Here's an example of mine:

We currently have data on server that is being end of lived. With that

And also, just to confirm, is all the drives online and connected
