bpexpdate deletes the copy of the images that are on the specified tape (among other things) from the catalog. There is no need to perform other steps if you are merely discarding the image copies from a tape. As others have written, the expired tape becomes available or expired and frozen.

Hello all, I am caughtup in some SARBOX requirements and I am looking to see if there is a CLI utility that will look at a image ID and tell me what media I'd the image is on. Basically the SARBOX tester is looking to see if we backup a client and offsite the media, we use vault as well.
