If you upgraded correctly, the catalog information and previous backups
should _not_ be lost.
You should be able to re-discover the devices under NBU 6.0MP4 though
without any problems.

I had the same issues, you need to re-discover all of the missing devices
or do it from hand. Once you fix that though -- you should be ok.
Make sure you follow the upgrade procedure revision B and also when you
install ICS, do not use FQDN.
