When it hits a session that it has a problem with, the file counts do not match. It doesn't tell me why. Usually it will give me some type of media read/write/position error when this happens. I also get a different error code when this occurs. This just says it is complete restored x-2 of

Tim, I am restoring a directory to the same name with a ".restored" suffix. That was not there when the restore was run. It did not have to do any overwrites or anything else. I forgot to mention that I also looked in the /usr/openv/netbackup/db/error directory for the day and that log doesn

since the ntbackup job hangs, there is never anything entered into the event logs. There is never anything in the ntbackup log either. It just all hangs. File Server Resource Manager is not installed. If I try to run "VSSADMIN list shadows" it never returns to the prompt. __
