You'll need a schedule of the type "User Backup".
As you have the bpbackup command below, it will spawn the backup off and the
script will continue without waiting for the backup to actually complete.
You need to add the -w parameter if you want the script to wait for the
backup to complete and ch

What is the window for these backups, and the retention on the full?
The only time I have seen a diff run as a full is if NBU does not think there
is a valid full for that policy.

Yes, one hot catalog backup policy. Both backups have a 7 day retention. The
window is 9:30am-10:30am for the diff and 11am-3pm for the full. Thursday's
window is slightly modified to allow the large diff run to completion.
I opened a case with Symantec and they had me create a new hot cat
6.0 MP4 on Solaris 9. 1 hit out of 7700 "FULLS".
