I ended up creating my own guide and installation methods for the
company in question (as each company do things differently).
Started from the basics really. Using the Sys Admin guides (download
from Symantec Portal) helped a bit

I'm trying to determine how the configuration wizard determines what names
to give storage units. I found the one for disk drives but can't seem to
find it for Storage units. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure where this information is kept for UNIX, but if you hit the
Storage Configuration Wizard in Windows there is a Configure Drive Name
Rules button for auto assigning drive storage unit names. I believe
the default is vendor ID.product ID.index.

I got clients that are SAN Attached client, but NetBackup is starting a
Service that is always failing on reboot.
Service is called NetBackup SAN Client Fibre Transport Service
It does not start, but I do not need it!
Any reason why it cannot be set to manual?

Ditto for. It's one of these services that I wish the installer should just
set to manual and let the customer set it to Automatic as part of the rest
of the SAN
