I discusses this with Symantec a while back. The media servers have to
be global zones, since non-global zones lack permissions to control
libraries and drives.
At the time we discussed the merits of placing the master in a
non-global zone, but they confessed that they had not pursued it.

I don't think the Master/Media can run in a zone...unless something has
change recently?
But, if you want to take advantage of Snapshots, you could make /opt/openv a
ZFS Filesystem, install NBU, than keep taking ZFS snaps of /opt/openv. That
way you would always have an easy DR plan.

combo in a solaris zone? And if so would this be a benificial situation?
Wouldn't running NB in a Solaris Zone make DR scenario's less painfull since it
would be only a matter of returning a snapshot.
