Our back up set-up is this: NBU 6.5 loaded on Server 2003. Policies
are configured to write to disk and then the disk is written to a tape
Our backup server lost power, at some point, and missed a few scheduled
backups. When I started the server again, I checked the Activity

least one of these hosts on Monday and the frequency is set to 1 week. changed
it to 5 days and might do it to 4

Do the backups run if you kick off the missing hosts manually?
This might be a corrupt policy. Have you tried recreating the policy?

i've created some more policies recently to get backups to start at the end of
the business day. trying to group my backups so that the shortest running jobs
start earlier and the longer running ones run at night.
