The action i got from original post was that he duplicated to the wrong pool and wanted to correct it by removing the duplication and then duplicating to the correct pool. I took from this that he just wanted 1 duplication and so the copy number would be 2. Increasing the number of copies to 3 jus

Its not really the correct option as you will now need to change the copy number to 3 when you want to do a restore and not to copy number 2. The reason i think this has happened is as the message suggests it already has 2 copies as you did a successfully duplication. Did you use the -copy flag on

Just dont worry about it. If you have /opt as a separate mount point the directory still exists under /. When netbackup traverses its directories it will pile through / and get to /opt. It will recognize that as being another partition/mount point/filesystem and because cross_mount_points is

I think you may have misunderstood multiplexing and streaming. Multiplexing as far as i understand it means you can write multiple jobs from a schedule to the same storage unit assuming mpx values are set correctly per drive etc. Multi streaming is creating a separate job for different volumes
