There could be a number of reasons for this - have you enabled
VERBOSE logging on the client and had a look through bpbkar logs on
the client and bptm/bpbrm/bprd logs on the master/media server ? If
you just kick this off during a quiet period there shouldn't be too
much noise in th

tweaked MAX_STAGING_JOBS to "1" so a DSSU would only relocate to one
drive at any time.

Simon,I've used this a couple of times quite successfully - you just need to be aware that selecting files to restore that are in the compressed catalog will take longer. Apart from that its a really good saving on disk space. You just need to chose a period after which the chances of having a rest
