I know I know it is not supported anymore and we are trying to upgrade but business reasons do not permit it at this time. That being said we have an issue with 5.1 MP5 and Oracle Rman backups. Seems every day we get jobs in the activity monitor that have a PID and a Client Name but nothing else.

We have seen at least 4 times in the last week where all Jobs Hang and it looks like BPSCHED goes away. We must then use the Kill -9 command on the Solaris 8 host to kill everything as the bp.kill_all and netbackup stop commands are ineffective. Anyone else seen this behavior in 5.1 MP5 ???
