Hi

I'm still getting status 71 for windows 2000 clients, using nbu 6.5.4

Clients - Application/system logs give nothing away , disk space is
fine,

Ntbackup system state backup works

disabling multistreaming doesn't fix the problem

any other suggestions??

Cheers
Michael Ince

Ive suggested this !

Suggested to look at the System, Application logs, disk space, ect, ect
!

It's crazy we devote our own time to respond, that surely they could
take the time to either say "yes done this or" "Thanks everyone you
fixed it" !!

Least we would know where we stood !

For the original problem reported, the requester should run ntbackup.exe
and see if they can run a backup of the system state normally.

it will only change the return code to a status of 1 if the rest of the
backup works. Which in most cases does.
