No NDMP backups cannot be multiplexed no matter where the tape side of
the backup exists. This is a limitation of NDMP.
Multi-streaming is possible with NDMP backups just not Multiplexing.

I am not 100% sure of this, I believe "tape.reservations scsi" is required. I
would suggest that, since this is an option in the NetApp OS not a NetBackup
option, that you check NetApp's support to see if that option is needed for
drive sharing.

The answer to your questions is yes, if you were at 7.1.1 or 7.2.1 or
higher of the ONTap OS for all the NetApp filers involved you could do
SSO with the Master, Media, and NDMP devices having any number of them
sharing the same drives.

ONStore in EverON 1.2.3 and higher
IBM running Data ONTap 7.1.1 and higher
DinoStor running OS 3.6.5
NetApp running 7.1.1 or higher

Include lists for NDMP backups cannot contain wild cards at all.

If you did not install the Java console then no you should not install
the Java patch. Please clarify the issue for me, is Qualys giving
positives on ALL NetBackup installations about the bpjava-msvc or is it
only giving those positives on the NBU Admin console machines?

NetBackup patches, on Windows we update the registry with a patch subkey
and add an entry to the add/remove programs area to indicate that the
patch is installed.
