You should look at bpfis logs. It should tell you what operation is consuming
most of the time.

Subject: Re: [Veritas-bu] Comments on NBU 7.5
Hi Jorge,
Hello Simon,
For 2nd, there was an issue late in 6.5.x with pst files with high data
movement (mail copy, deletion etc.) during snapshot time. These pst files were
restorable but some of the mails were missing which were moved during snapshot
time. It's fixed with 7.0 onwards.

binary to protect you.
The issue doesn't affect NBU 7.0/7.0.1 GA.
It does affect 7.1 GA but binaries are available to resolve this.
Which Netbackup version you are using on vmware backup host and have you
deployed any EEBs on it.

Thanks & regards
Yes, you can list 8 volumes.
Putting a space after . (dot) is not adviced.
Getting or not getting a pop-up is ok. It will not affect your operations.
Your restore seems to be slow. But it may happen if your initial drive was
highly fragmented.

You need an enterprise client license for NBU. Process with VDR is
pretty smooth and quick in comparison to VCB.
Thanks,

Block size could play a role. Increasing the "SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS" to say,
256k, might help. You need to set "SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS_NDMP" also.

Both issues will be fixed in 6.5.4.
You can ask support to get a binary for second issue. ET 1483135 contains EEB
for this for 6.5.3.
For first issue you can ask support to raise an escalation to get EEB fix.
