I can keep track of the tapes in my offsite pool and when they expire in
a spreadsheet since there should be no more than 20 or 30 tapes out at
any point in time.

I'm trying to develop a procedure for duplicating backups for offsite
using NBU 6.0 (master and media servers are Solaris). There are about 8
machines whose backups I want to duplicate. Some backup go directly to
tape and some are staged to disk. I use automatic staging. When I run a

running. The HBA came back up upon reboot but now the migration process
is still shows as Active but

I am trying to add a Debian Linux client from the GUI but Linux does not
show up under hardware type and operating system. Is this a matter of
licensing? If not, how do I get Linux to be in the list?

usual. Is there a way to do it? Both the server and the clients are
Solaris if that makes a difference.

Another question. Can anyone explain the relationship between NB client

like there are two possible ways to understand the rules. Which is
right?
