How about vStorage CBT differentials? Anyone actually have a problem with the registry, certificate store etc not coming back to the point in time of the differential backup? I am torn if I should keep doing my incremental /synthetics including system state as well as periodic vStorage fulls,

Given the availability of rapid OS deployment/restore via Ghost, Altiris/DS, Symantec System Recovery, etc, and with the special exceptions of a Domain Controller or a Certificate Server, why would I ever care to back up the System State on Windows servers?
