>>NBU 5.1 exam isn't very difficult to anyone already running NBU in a day to
I passed the Exam - Design of Data Protection Solutions for UNIX (NBU 5.0) - DP-021X in last month. One would not clear it ,Only with NBU knowledge or running NBu day to day . Need to know all below: (must be good in math) to calculate no. of tapes required to backup so many terabytes of data in so many hours and retention period. Conversion terabytes to petabytes to Mb etc.. SQl database backups. RMAN SAN Switch zoning Replication Veritas foundation suite. DR , and lot more. If anyone is planning to take it, and need more info - send me an offline mail - [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Will be happy to help you out. Question: I am designing, and will be implementing NBU6.0 here on large Sun box - Sun Fire E25K Server, planning to hook it on Hitachi Array (tagma store) .Is anyone out there running NBU6.0 on Solaris10? If so what's your experience -is it stable? Or should I implement it on solaris9? Regards, Shekhar Dhotre| Sr. Systems Engineer/Architect. Cedar Document Technologies, Inc. Missed something like two questions about SSO (which we don't run here.) Anyhow I got the impression that the NBU 5.1 exam isn't very difficult to anyone already running NBU in a day to day enterprise environment. Still haven't taken the test yet. I'm sure a procrastinator! =) -Jonathan This email is for the intended addressee only. If you have received it in error then you must not use, retain, disseminate or otherwise deal with it.
